When you talk to yourself, try saying this…

October 24, 2011

Affirmations. I don’t remember when I first heard about affirmations or started using affirmations. I think my affirmations started as prayers I would say on a daily basis. Then I would happen to read a book or an article which had affirmations and sometimes I would think , “Those words sound even better than mine.” Sometimes I liked my words and would create my version of the affirmation. Anyways, I know I have been using affirmations for at least 30 years (since the time I was 6 – ha! ha!)

These last few months I have not heard too much good news. These are really tough times for a lot of people. I know my couples getting married are happy in love but I know they, too, also have other things in their lives they wish were going better. I thought I would share a version of an affirmation I have really liked.  I have hadbeen reading this affirmation at different times for about 15 years. There was never an author given to the version I had. Now I went online to see if I could find the author. I think the original author is Louise Hay. When looking online, I found another version and edited it with the version I had which I think even makes it a better affirmation. So, if you are having a hard day or if you just a more satisfying life, try this affirmation. Say this affirmation again tomorrow, the next day, the day after that, keep saying it and see what happens…  My intent is for you to have some hope and comfort and to live the best life possible. Here it one of the affirmations I really like because it covers so much:

“In the infinity of life where I am, all is perfect whole and complete. I am one with the Power that created me …I live in harmony and balance with everyone I know.

Deep at the center of my being, there is an infinite well of love. I now allow this love to flow to the surface.  It fills my heart…my body…my mind…my consciousness… my very being… and radiates out from me in all directions and returns to me multiplied. The more love I use and give, the more I have to give. The supply is endless. The use of love makes me feel good, it is an expression of my inner joy.

I love myself; therefore, I take loving care of my body. I lovingly feed it nourishing foods and beverages, I lovingly groom it and dress it, and my body lovingly responds to me with vibrant health and energy.

I love myself; therefore, I provide for myself a comfortable home, one that fills all my needs and is a pleasure to be in.  I fill the rooms with the vibration of love so that all who enter, me included, will feel this love and be nourished by it.

I love myself; therefore I work at a job I truly enjoy doing, with and for people I love and who love me, and earning an excellent income. My unique talents and abilities flow through me and are expressed in deeply satisfying ways. There are people out there who are always looking for my services and can choose what I want to do. My work is a joy and a pleasure.

I love myself; therefore, I am totally open and receptive to the abundant flow of prosperity that the Universe offers. All my needs and desires are met before I even ask. I am divinely guided and protected, and I make choices that are beneficial for me. I rejoice in others’ successes,  knowing there is plenty for us all. I am constantly increasing my conscious awareness of abundance, and this reflects in a constantly increasing income. My good comes from everywhere and everyone.

I love myself; therefore, I behave and think in a loving way to all people for I know that that which I give out returns to me multiplied. I only attract loving people in my world, for they are a mirror of what I am.

I love myself; therefore, I live totally in the now, experiencing each moment as good and know that my future is bright and joyous and secure, for I am a beloved child of the Universe and the Universe lovingly takes care of me now and forever more.

All is well in my world. “

Wishing you a healthy, love-filled life,

Jane
